Today, EdSystems released a newly re-imagined website for the Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness (PWR) Act. The new design more clearly introduces the Act’s four central strategies: Postsecondary & Career Expectations (PaCE), College & Career Pathway Endorsements, transitional instruction, and the competency-based education pilot. Each strategy’s sub-page serves as a resource hub, showcasing key resources from state agencies, guidance and implementation supports, and exemplars from the field.
Launching a Centralized Hub for Transitional Instruction
To support transitional math and English implementation, a new website from the Illinois Community College Board and EdSystems is centralizing information to help educators clarify state policies, forge strong local partnerships, develop courses, and apply for portability.
