Educators from the Regional Office of Education #47 shared how they are supporting schools in designing, implementing, and evaluating team-based challenges that promote collaboration and real-world problem-solving. The session included insights from case studies and exploring scalable strategies for challenge-based learning.
ROE 47’s regional approach supports even the smallest districts—some with fewer than 30 students—by pooling resources and creating equitable access to career pathways and endorsements. The ROE takes on the heavy lifting of partner coordination so that teachers, especially those juggling multiple roles, don’t have to. “It’s hard to ask the English teacher who’s now in charge of the health science pathway to build relationships with industry partners, so we do that work for them.”
