The Illinois Education and Career Success Network Cradle to Career Community Dashboard allows users to assess progress towards the goal of 60% of Illinois adults having a high-quality postsecondary credential by the year 2025. A resource offered to the Success Network’s Leadership Communities, the dashboard serves as a single stop for cradle-to-career data and information describing Illinois broadly and Community-identified geographies specifically. Dashboard users can analyze regional information on education and workforce system characteristics, track postsecondary education attainment and education-to-career objectives, and benchmark community efforts against state averages.

Our Role

EdSystems manages the dashboard in partnership with NIU’s Illinois Interactive Report Cards team. We are in the process of restructuring and enhancing the data resources, including the dashboard, offered to Leadership Communities, with an eye towards incorporating qualitative data. We continue to strive to ensure that, where possible, dashboard and other data can be disaggregated to inform equity-related goal setting and action.
