Illinois Education and Career Success Network: Data Dashboard

The Success Network Dashboard allows users to assess progress towards the goal of equitably increasing postsecondary attainment for Illinois adults. A resource offered to the Success Network’s Leadership Communities, the dashboard serves as a single stop for data to inform community decisions.

Our Role

EdSystems manages the dashboard in partnership with NIU’s Illinois Interactive Report Cards team. We strive to ensure that, where possible, dashboard and other data can be disaggregated to inform equity-related goal setting and action.

In 2023–2024, we released a reimagined dashboard to allow users to visualize trend data, download it, easily group together data from multiple districts for comparison, and benchmark against state averages and top and bottom quartiles. Built with stakeholder input, these features can help communities base their actions on concrete data and measurable outcomes. This data-based decision-making process ensures that resources are allocated strategically and interventions are targeted. Further, this process can encourage collaboration as stakeholders can collectively work towards achieving common goals. Dashboard views now include:
