AMP-IT Dashboard

In 2022, EdSystems launched the Accelerated Model Pathways for Information Technology (AMP-IT) initiative with support from the Gates Foundation to meet the demand for skilled IT workers in Illinois while advancing equity. Regional teams comprising 15 school districts participated in two cohorts.

The AMP-IT Dashboard provides an overview of students in participating school districts enrolled in digital technology coursework. The dashboard is designed to help answer questions such as:

  • What demographic information can we know about these students?
  • What specific pathway programs are students participating in?
  • How many students are earning early college credit, particularly in career-focused coursework?
  • How many students are earning an industry credential, and what credentials are they earning?

Of the 15 school districts that participated in AMP-IT, 12 provided student-level data, which are incorporated in the first view of the dashboard (labeled “AMP-IT Dashboard”). Chicago Public Schools provided aggregated data, which is available in the second view (labeled “CPS AMP-IT Dashboard”).
