At the Success Network Policy Committee’s annual data deep dive on January 22, 2026, the committee reviewed a range of secondary, postsecondary, and employment metrics.
Secondary and postsecondary practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders grappled with new data analyses regarding Illinois students’ college and career readiness and access. Attendees gained an enhanced understanding of the interactions among factors at play in students’ college and career journeys, such as SAT scores, school funding adequacy, and attendance. The agenda included dedicated time to discuss the implications for policy and practice.
