Alexia Santiago

Innovation Manager Alexia Santiago supports statewide initiatives in work-based learning and provides technical assistance for college and career readiness. Alexia focuses on fostering partnerships with cross-sector stakeholders to provide high-quality work-based learning opportunities.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Akron, Alexia began her career as a Student Success Coach at City Year Inc., supporting high school students in Columbus (OH) City Schools. She transitioned to managing a team of Student Success Coaches and became a director responsible for program implementation and development. Most recently, Alexia served as a Network Director at United Way of Central Ohio’s Success by Third Grade movement in the South-Western City School District. She utilized a collective impact approach to lead convenings between the school district and a network of community partners, aligning services to address barriers to student literacy.
