Madeleine Greene

Policy Manager Madeleine Greene supports EdSystems’ policy work in communities throughout the state of Illinois, largely focusing on transitional instruction, dual enrollment, and college and career pathways. Madeleine facilitates EdSystems’ bidirectional policy approach by convening practitioners in forums such as the Illinois Education and Career Success Network’s Policy Committee to inform equitable policy at each stage of the P-20 pipeline.

Madeleine began her career as a middle school teacher in Gary, Indiana, and in Chicago Public Schools, where she developed a passion for eliminating systemic barriers to student success. Most recently, Madeleine supported research and analysis into transfer pathways at the Partnership for College Completion as well as equitable higher education funding work with Advance Illinois. Madeleine holds a bachelor’s in journalism from Northwestern University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
