Bárbara Algarín is the Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) Illinois Executive Director. She has spent the last 20 years of her career ensuring the youth of Illinois are provided the tools and the opportunities necessary to succeed. Ms. Algarín possesses the unwavering belief that all students, no matter what background or barrier, can learn and thrive.
Ms. Algarín has a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and a B.S. in Science Teaching from California State University. Ms. Algarín is a visiting scholar at Northwestern University and is on the adjunct faculty of the U.S. Department of Defense Institute for International Legal Studies.
