ILLINOIS 60 BY 20 NETWORK
EdSystems is one of three organizations (in partnership with Advance Illinois and the Illinois Student Assistance Commission) that which is an ever-emerging network of communities in Illinois that are committed to the goal of ensuring that 60% of adults have a college or career credential by 2025. This network is designed to meet the needs of communities that are working together to provide rigorous, real world learning in and out of the classroom.
EdSystems is also one of three organizations (in partnership with Jobs for the Future and ConnectEd California) that lead the Great Lakes College and Career Pathways Initiative. Funded by the Joyce Foundation, the Great Lakes College and Careers Pathways Partnership is building high-quality pathways that equip students to thrive in college, career, and beyond. Such pathways actively engage multiple stakeholders in aligning secondary and postsecondary education with career opportunities in high-demand industries. This structured approach enables students to graduate from high school with a credential valuable in the labor market, as well as pursue a two- or four-year degree.
